10+2 with PCM/Diploma- To become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer candidate must have 10+2 passing certificate in PCM group only or Diploma in Engineering issued by any govt. recognised university approved by AICTE.
Medical Fitness Certificate- To become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer candidate should be Physically Fit by all means and also he should have a certificate issued by any MBBS doctor stating Candidate's Color Vision is Normal.
AME License- To become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, a candidate must have a AME License issued by DGCA, Govt. of India after completion of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course from DGCA approved institute under CAR 147(Basic). It is the necessary qualification to apply for Job in the aviation sector as AME. The grant of AME is precious as AME can work in India and abroad in the government as well as private sector.
Ability to work as part of a team - The AME operates the aircraft in a, so a candidate is comfortable to work in tandem.
Accountability - It is the accountability of AME for the well-being and protection of aircraft.
Ability to work odd hours - AME is required in favorable and unfavorable time and place. An AME is capable of working in every circumstance.
